ARCHER - Allan K. Archer on July 22, 2008 in his 89th year. Allan was an RCNVR rating, an officer in WWII and an actuary by profession. His loving partner, Cheryl Robinson, survives him. Predeceased by his wives, Lillian and Madeleine and his sister Muriel. He is also survived by his daughter, Anne and her husband Geoffrey Murray, his stepson, Warren Wolfenden and his wife Lori, and six grandchildren: Willa and Adrian Murray, Ethan and Meghan Wolfenden and Jessie and Jamie Dalton. He was a special friend to Cheryl's family. Allan was a kind, gentle man who enjoyed travel, friends and family immensely. His joy of life was shared with many and will be missed by all who have survived him. The family wish to extend our thanks to the trauma team at Victoria Hospital, especially Donna Hesch, who comforted Allan and his family. At Allan's request, in lieu of a funeral service, his friends are invited to share their memories of Allan at The London Club, 177 Queens Ave., London, on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Westview Funeral Chapel, (519-641-1793) entrusted with arrangements.
