LEEUWESTEIN (Toonk) Anna - “Safe in the Arms of Jesus” Anna Leeuwestein (Toonk) of Woodstock. Suddenly on September 20, 2008 as a result of a tragic accident at her home, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of Arie Leeuwestein, dear mother of Gerald and Wibbina Toonk, mother-in-law of Gene Jacques and partner Kathy Gionet of Rodney. Sadly missed by grandchildren, Angela, Kimberly and Debra Toonk, Brian and Angela Jacques, Jerry Jacques and five great grandchildren. Also four step-sons; Arie Jr. And Mariam, Henk and Marjorie, Hans and Pat, Ben and Ila and their families. Predeceased by her husband D.J. Toonk (1974) and daughter Gertrude Jacques (1999). Friends and relatives are invited for visitation at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. , Woodstock, (519) 539-0004 on Tuesday September 23, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Emmanuel Reformed Church, 170 Clarke St., Woodstock with Rev. Case Koolhaas officiating. Interment in the Exeter Cemetery.
