HATCH, DOREEN BERYL ( Nee SHIPP ) - Our Mom, Doreen, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 11, 2008 at Marion Villa, London , Ontario. Born August 7, 1922 in Windsor, Ont. She spent most of her life in Woodstock, retired as an R.N.A. from WGH and wintered in Florida. Predeceased by mother Mary (Hossack) 1973 and father James Shipp 1942. Predeceased by husbands Robert Magill (1952); Herbert Bennett; Al (Bus) Bales (1986); Gordon Hatch (1997) and daughter Penny Slager (1987). Survived by sons Robert Magill (Bonnie), London; Gary Magill (Judy), London; daughters Nancy Scott (Guy), Woodstock and Beverlee Oulton, Norwich , 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Yvonne Robinson (Dave), Owen Sound and Carolee Miller (Gerry), London. Predeceased by sisters Dorothy Smith, Nancy Emigh, Millie Heath, Nancy Emigh, and Marlene Swan and brothers Bruce Shipp and Jim Shipp. A Memorial will be held at a later date. Thanks to the staff at Marion Villa on 2nd floor, for 5 years of their care, and to Dr.Eric Nichols for his dedication to senior care.
