POST – At Caressant Care, Woodstock with his family at his side on Monday, October 20, 2008, Nelson Warren Post of Woodstock in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Janet (July, 2008) having shared 67 years of marriage. Dear father of Vivian McMullen (Mick) of Sweaburg, Sylvia Waud (Bill), Keith Post (Elizabeth) and Lorne Post (Susan), all of Woodstock. Loving grandfather of Robert McMullen, Barb Derbowka (Shawn), Janet Johnson (Earl), Karen Waud (Bill), Andrew Post (Sarah), Matthew Post (Carolyn), Nicholas Post, Avelea Post (Matthew Zehr), Haleigh Post, Elliott Post, Jodie Durst (Rob) and Chad Post (Melissa Stanley). Also lovingly remembered by his 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Brother of Bernice Lowes of Woodstock. Predeceased by his parents LeRoy “Roy” Burton Post and Olive Josephine Tuer, four children James Nelson Post, Kathleen Fay Post, Ralph William Post, and Gail Bernice Post, two grandchildren Gary McMullen and Jason Post, and one great grandchild Thomas Post. Friends will be received at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Thursday, October 23, 2008 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment later at Beachville Cemetery.
