Sulston - Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Monday, December 1, 2008. R. Ward Sulston of Caressant Care Nursing Home and formerly of Canterbury St. Woodstock in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Madalene (nee Oatman) for over 61 years. Dear father of Karen Iutzi and her husband Terry of Woodstock and Kenneth Sulston of Charlottetown, PEI. Dear brother of Helen Foster of Woodstock. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers James and Allan Sulston. Ward was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, served during WWII with both the Elgin and Perth Regiments and was employed with Standard Tube for over 35 years, retiring in 1982. Friends may call at the LONGWORTH FUNERAL HOME, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday after 10:00 a.m. where the complete memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Janice Fisher officiating. Interment in Princeton Cemetery. Contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
