RYLANCE - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday, December 27, 2008. Velma M. (nee Isbister) Rylance of Woodstock in her 78th year. Beloved wife of James “Jim” A. Rylance for over 56 years. Dear mother of Judy Rylance (Richard Kovacs) of Woodstock and Kathy Hill (Lea) of Mississauga. Loved grandmother of Dayna Hill. Dear sister of Carl Isbister (Ann) of Woodstock, Shirley Westlake (Bill) of Lititz, PA, Loreen Chambers (Wayne) of Mississauga and sister-in-law of Pat Purcell of Tenino, WA, Sally Allan (David) of Courtney , BC and Allan Rylance (Deb) of Black Creek , BC. Velma is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday, December 29, 2008 from 7-9 and on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
