Blancher, Charles Edward (Chuck) - At Parkwood Hospital on Sunday, January 4, 2009. Chuck Blancher of Ingersoll in his 86th year, beloved husband of Jean (Whatley) for 65 years; cherished father of Susan Nagtegaal (Harry) of Ingersoll, Lynda Romanick of Stratford; also lovingly remembered by five grandchildren Tamara (Adam), Tracy (Leigh) of Ingersoll, Jennifer, Elizabeth (Robert), Jeffrey (Barb) of Stratford and nine great grandchildren. Dear brother of George, Norman, Leslie and Louis. Predeceased by his parents Ashton and Mae Blancher, brothers Donald, Douglas and Gerald. Charles was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #119 Ingersoll. Friends will be received at the MCBEATH-DYNES FUNERAL HOME, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Spring interment in Harris St. Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or Parkwood Hospital Foundation (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
