WHEELER - Leslie David (Les) Peacefully at Woodingford Lodge Ingersoll on Sunday, January 18, 2009, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Jervis) Wheeler (1990); dear brother of Margaret Waud of Embro, brother-in-law of Marjorie Wheeler-Davidson of Hamilton, Violet Wheeler of Ajax, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Cecil (2005), Charles (1974), brothers-in-law Harvey Waud, Glenn Davidson, Jack Jervis and sister-in-law Mary Jervis. Special thanks to the staff of Woodingford Lodge Ingersoll and Woodstock, Alexandra Hospital for their kindness and care. Friends will be received at the MCBEATH-DYNES FUNERAL HOME 246 Thames Street South; Ingersoll on Wednesday 1-2 pm with the funeral service at 2 pm, interment Dorchester Union Cemetery. Donations to Alzheimer Research, Woodingford Lodge (Ingersoll) or Trinity United Church Foundation (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
