VOOGD - At Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford, on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, Jakob Voogd of Woodstock in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Geesina Voogd (nee DeVries). Dear father of Albert and his wife Nancy of Burford, George and his wife Edna of Woodstock, Anne VanderPloeg and her husband Andy of Cambridge, Brian and his wife Annette of Burford, Helen Bloemendal and her husband Albert and Jenny Bloemendal and her husband Gerald all of Brampton, Jake of Oakville, Wayne and his wife Nadine and Eugene and his wife Christine all of Burford. Loved grandfather of twenty grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dear brother of Biense Oege Voogd, Simon Voogd, Pieter Jacob Voogd, Albert Harm Voogd, Maaike Wierenga, and Jantje Voogd. Friends will be received at the LONGWORTH FUNERAL HOME, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Thursday, February 5, 2009, from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 577 Norwich Ave., Woodstock, on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
