BARR - Suddenly at Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, Bessie Yvonne Barr (nee Elvidge ) of RR#1 Burgessville in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Alvin. Loving mother of Donald and wife Susan of Syria, Ronald and wife Jayne of Windham Centre, Bonnie Barr of Brantford, and Barbara Barr of Simcoe. She will be missed by her 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Survived by sisters Viola McLean of London, and Norma Elvidge of St. Thomas. Predeceased by 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers-in-law. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St. W., Norwich (519) 863-3020, on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Bessie's life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday January 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
