REEVES, Helen Mae (nee Crane) - Passed away at Woodstock General Hospital, on March 5, 2009, in her 86th year. Helen recently resided at Langdon Retirement Villa, formerly of RR#1, Beachville, and was the wife of the late Harry Elwood Reeves (February 24, 2007). Loving mother of Leonard Reeves and Carl and his wife Coyla Jean Reeves. Helen will be dearly missed by grandchildren Cathy Reeves of London, Mark and Dwayne Reeves of Woodstock and Allie Hagerman of Woodstock. Survived by sister-in-law Evalena and her husband Lloyd Miles of Mt. Elgin; cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Minnie Crane; sister Thelma Rose (Crane), and brother-in-law Bill Gardham. Helen was known by many as “The Fry Lady” at the Foldens Ball Park, as she worked in the booth for many years. Friends are invited to join the family for a funeral service to celebrate Helen’s life at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. Interment later in the Harris Street Cemetery.
