TODD - At her residence on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, E. “Trudy” Gertrude Todd (nee Rogers) of Maples Nursing Home, Tavistock and formerly of Bright in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late John W. Todd (1994). Dear mother of Dianne Polisak and her husband Duncan of Bright and Bryan Todd and his wife Bev of RR#1, Bright. Loved grandmother of Christine Ovington (Ken Mogk), Greg Polisak (Kim Vance), Scott Polisak (Jody Symons), Samantha Witzel (Brett), Tyler Todd and Jenna Todd and great grandmother of Kayla, Justin, Owen, Sullivan and Vaida. Trudy is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law; George Stevenson of Palmerston, Nova Rogers of Huntingdon, QC, Mary Rogers of Innerkip, Dick and Edith Todd, Connie Bowman all of Saskatchewan and Gordon and Helen Todd of Alberta. Predeceased by her parents Emmerson and Lily Rogers, and by her siblings; Willis Rogers, Leslie Rogers, Margaret Ropgers and Marjorie Stevenson. Trudy was a longtime member of the Bright United Church and the UCW and Dorcus Women at Bright United Church. Friends may call at the LONGWORTH FUNERAL HOME, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Maggie Plant officiating. Interment later in the Innerkip Cemetery. Contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Oxford County would be appreciated or a charity of your choice.
