Milne, James Stewart - Passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 3, 2009 in Woodstock, Ontario at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Reilly) Milne for 20 years. Loving father to Jim (Wanda), Rob (Maria), Dawn Sommerville (James), Lesley Scott (Tom) and Chris George (Lisa). Grandad to Trevor, Katrina, Tabitha, Brittany, Carisa, Alisia, Justin, Ainsley, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Matthew, Grayson, Carley, Gabrielle, Ethan, Hailey. Great-Grandad to Jamie-Lynn, Brodie and Dillon. Dear son of Elizabeth Milne of Dundee, Scotland and her late husband James. Jim will be missed by his sister Maureen Petrie (Doug) of Dundee, Scotland and brother, Ian Milne (Deirdre) of Australia and their families. Jim is also survived by his first wife Patricia (nee Lamond) Evans. Dearly missed by his special friend Woody. Jim was an avid golfer with memberships at Oxford Golf and Country Club and Brookridge Country Club in Florida. He was a native of Dundee, Scotland where as a lad in the Boy's Brigade he graduated to an apprentice millwright, learning his trade in the jute mills of Dundee. He enjoyed coaching soccer and wasn't afraid to try his hand at any task around the house, fixing things was his special passion. Much loved by family, friends and colleagues he looked at every problem in a non biased, non judgmental way. He will be truly missed by all. Jim's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, (507 Frederick St., Kitchener) on Tuesday, May 5th from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Jim's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. Reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Multi Organ Transplant Program at London Health Sciences Centre or the Ontario Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).Visit www.henrywalser.com for the James Milne memorial.
