HARRON - Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at Woodstock General Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2009, Marie Harron (nee Hebert) of Woodstock at the age of 81. Wife of the late George Harron (1993) and Glenn McCutchen (1958). Beloved mother of Elaine Webb (Derek) of Australia, Lorraine Lucente (Ralph) of Brantford, Larry McCutchen (Terry) of Niagara Falls, Brenda Hardie (Jim) of Granton, Sandy Harron of Woodstock, George Harron (Dianne) of Ingersoll, Monica Harron of B.C., Reg Harron of B.C., Bill Harron (Colleen) of Saskatchewan, David Harron of Woodstock, and Sylvia Harron of B.C. Also lovingly remembered by her 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Betty Ann Karn (Ken) of Sweaburg, sisters-in-law Marg Smith (Le Verne) of Woodstock and Ruth Harron (late Mervyn) of Alberta, and aunt Doreen Carson of Woodstock. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Christina Hebert and her siblings Jean Carter, Josie Jones, Irene Bowman, Dorothy Maloney, Ruby Black, Russell Hebert and Cecil Hebert. Marie was an RNA at Woodstock General Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 55, Woodstock, and enjoyed many years of euchre and bowling. She was also a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Woodstock. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Furry officiating. Interment at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
