STREEF - Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2009. Jan Streef of RR#8 Woodstock in his 88th year. Cherished husband of Johanna Maria Streef (nee Boele). Beloved father of Peter Streef (Ana) of Mississauga, John Streef (Lena) of Gobles, Albert Streef of Campbellville, Jacob (Jack) Streef (Janna) of Oxford Centre and Olivia Streef of Princeton. Dear grandfather of 13 grandchildren. Loved brother of Maarten Streef (Dinie) of London, Andy Streef (Dickie) of Sweaburg, Hans Streef (Anneke) of Holland and his sister-in-laws Rina Streef of Woodstock, and Pietja Lagendyk of Holland. Predeceased by his son Martin Streef (2008) and by his daughter-in-law Cory Clack-Streef (2007). Jan was the founding president of Streef Produce Ltd. Jan spent 35 dedicated years serving the community at the Woodstock Farmers Market every Saturday morning. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday May 14, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 170 Clarke St, Woodstock, on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev.
