MUIR - Peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Monday July 13, 2009. Jean B. Muir (nee Cunningham) of Canterbury St. Woodstock in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Rev. A. C. Grant Muir (2004). Dear mother of Margaret Dunn and her husband Philip of Manitoba, Donald Muir and his wife Irene of Markham, Libby Harmer and her husband Barry and Peter Muir and his wife Eileen all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Georgina, Anna, Lucy and Jacqualine (Steven), and great grandmother of Oryn, Liam and Fiona. Also missed by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of of Eleanor Cunningham of Orillia. Predeceased by her brothers George (Ruth) Cunningham, Tom Cunningham and sister Maymie Cunningham. Jean was a longtime member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Harrington and more recently Knox Presbyterian Church, Woodstock. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Wednesday July 15, 2009 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday July 16, 2009 at 3:30 pm.
