HAYWARD - At Woodstock General Hospital on Friday, July 10, 2009, William "Bill" Frederick Hayward of Woodstock in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Eileen Hayward (nee Shelby) for over 61 years. Dear father of Brenda Symons (Stan) of Woodstock and Linda Ross (Don) of Innerkip. Loved grandfather of Bob Symons (Cassie), Barb Op’tHoog (Adrian), Lori Ross (Daryle Gaston) and Carrie Robinson (Jon) and great grandfather of Kyle Symons, Avery and Noah Op’tHoog, Sara Ross, and Lauren and Brock Robinson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his grandson Bill Symons, sister Blanche Disher, and parents Fred and Pearl Hayward. Bill was a longtime member of Eastwood United Church and enjoyed farming in Blandford Township for many years. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Monday, July 13, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:30 pm with Rev.
