Voogd, Albert Geert - Surrounded by his loving family at Victoria Hospital, London on Friday, July 10, 2009, Albert Voogd of Burford, in his 58th year. Cherished husband of Nancy; Beloved stepfather of; Kelly and Rob, Julie and Jeff, Craig and Amanda, Kristin and Ken. Predeceased by stepson Brent (2001). Adored Opa of; Nick, Sami, Jessie, Nathan, and Shiye; Son-in-law of Don and Mary Wintonic, Dear son of Geesina and the late Jakob Voogd. Cherished brother of George and Edna, Anne and Andy, Brian and Annette, Helen and Al, Jenny and Gerald, Jake, Wayne and Nadine, and Eugene and Cris. Albert will be sadly missed by 20 nieces and nephews, and many friends. Friends will be received at the KEITH OVINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 134 King Street, Burford on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Dirk Miedema officiating.
