REEVES, Shane Edward — 52, of Nictaux, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at home. Born in Woodstock, ON, he was a son of Evelyne (Dagenias) Reeves, North Bay, ON and the late John Reeves. Shane was retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force after 16 years and a former employee of the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission. He operated his own business as an auto detailer. Shane enjoyed fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife, the former Laura Walker; daughter, Jacey (James Thurston) Reeves, Petawawa, ON; son, Lee (Danielle Quayle) Reeves, Abbotsford, BC; sister, Nancy (Kevin) Baltzer, Angus, ON; grandchildren, Arianna Thurston and Travis Thurston. He was predeceased by sister, Wendy Reeves. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held 2p.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in St. Mark's Chapel, 14 Wing Greenwood.
