KELLY - LAURA EVELYN - JUNE 25, 1911 - SEPTEMBER 18, 2009 - Laura Evelyn Kelly, 98, passed away peacefully September 18, 2009 at the Westview Health Centre, Stony Plain, Alberta. She was born in Truro, N.S., June 25, 1911. Laura was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Matthew Kelly, 66, February 20, 1978, five sisters: Margaret, 101; Anne, 95; Jennie, 93; Carolyn, 93; Alice, 93; and three brothers; Campbell, 80; Gordon, 69; and David, 19. Formerly of Porcupine, (37 years) and Woodstock, Ontario, (23 years), Laura relocated to Spruce Grove/Stony Plain in 2003, to be with her family. Laura is survived by her son, Douglas Kelly, daughter-in-law Joyce Kelly, of Spruce Grove and two grandchildren; Brian Kelly of Spruce Grove and Julie Kelly of Calgary. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Good Samaritan Society’s George Hennig Place, 4808 - 57 Avenue, Stony Plain on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the family plot at Beachwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario.
