DORIS, James Gerard, 1960-2009 Though he left us on December 7th, Jamie remains special to us all and will forever be sadly missed. Devoted father to Alex and Adam. Loving companion to Sue Hanna. Son to Evelyn and the late Jack Doris. Brother of Jack (Ruth), Tom (Betty), Paul (Jill), Marian (Marvin) Ens, Karen (Gregg) Derrett, and Kevin (June), and a much loved cousin and a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is remembered also by Elizabeth, mother to Alex and Adam. We are all very grateful for the attentive care of the doctors, nurses, and staff of Brantford General Hospital, and Juravinski Cancer Centre (Hamilton). A Special thank you to the compassionate and caring staff and volunteers at Stedman Community Hospice (Brantford). Visitation at McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road N., Brantford, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Celebration of Jamie’s life and spiritual service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church in Toronto at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to the Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford.
