JONES - At her home on Thursday, December 17, 2009. Bette Marie Jones of Woodstock in her 71st year. Dear wife of Jim D. Jones for over 37 years. Beloved mother of Christine McDonald (Alan Bohn) of Woodstock, Vickey Brown and her husband Gary of Georgetown, Michael Colosimo of Montreal and D’Arcy Jones-Ropp and her husband Dale of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Jessica (Craig), Jason (Misty), Nicole (Andrew), Byron, Scott, Kayla, Jaymz, Emersun, Ryen and great grandmother of Dawson, Aiden, Devon and Hudson. Dear sister of Phyllis Vorich and her husband Tony of St. Catharines and John Trowhill and his wife Doreen of Woodstock. Predeceased by her brothers Bob, Jim and Russell. Bette was a longtime advocate for disability issues both locally and provincially. She had been a longtime volunteer with the M.S. Society, Red Cross Society and was an originating member of the Woodstock Accessibility Advisory Committee. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday, December 21, 2009 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 p.m., where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
