Van den Berg - Suddenly at Woodstock General Hospital, on Saturday January 23, 2010. Frances Evelyn (Pettit) formerly of RR # 2 Embro in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the Late Jack van den Berg (2005) and dear mother of Derrick and Karen of Embro, Tony and Mary of Woodstock and Michele and Bill Harris of RR # 3 Woodstock. Also loved by 7 grandchildren Jasmine, Dallas, Sam, Tonya, Sarah, Tyler and Tieu, and sadly missed by 1 sister Lucille Robinson of Woodstock, one brother-in-law Piet of London, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in the Netherlands. Predeceased by her parents John and Muriel Pettit and one brother Gerald. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas Street Thamesford, on Wednesday January 27, 2010 from 7-9 pm to share memories of Evelyn’s life. A private family interment of Evelyn’s cremated remains will follow at a later date.
