Suddenly on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Woodstock General Hospital, Fred Watts of Sweaburg in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Mae Watts (nee Kennedy) of 51 years. Loving father of Lynn Watts-Sweazey, Sherry Alyea (Bill), and Steve Watts (Vicki Laekeman). Loving grandfather "papa" of Kyle, Justin, and Joshua Alyea and Nick Sweazey. Fred will be missed by his extended family and many friends. Fred worked for 34 years with the MTO and was the founder of Fred Watts Backhoe Service and partner of Watts Sanitation. Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Fred during visitation at the Longwrth Funeral Home , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 3:30 pm with Rev. David VanPatter officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Sweaburg United Church or the Woodstock General Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated.
