Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Monday September 6, 2010 Marie Bradshaw (nee: Vollmershauen) of London in her 79th year. Loving partner of Carmen McBeth of Ingersoll. Marie was predeceased by husbands Clayre Collens (2000), Jack Hazen, Frank Doresch, Wilf Bradshaw. Dear mother of Randy Collens of Tillsonburg, Barry (Wanda) Collens of Straffordville, Stephen Collens (Gale Jacobs) of London. Grandmother of David, Jason and Brittany Collens. Great grandmother of Nicholas and Benjamin. Dear sister of Audrey and the late Dave Steeles of Woodstock, Helen Saunders (Mel) of Woodstock, Don (Donna) Vollmershausen of Bright, Doug (Connie) Vollmershausen of Innerkip. Also, survived by her many nieces and nephews. Marie was also predeceased by her son Darcy Collens (2008), and brother Murray Vollmershausen (2008). Mom was a noted singer where she enjoyed singing with the Woodstock Red Cap Ladies. She was very well known as a singer at many Country and Western Jamboree's around the area. She was an active member of the Woodstock Moose Lodge, an active member of the Woodstock Royal Canadian Legion Auxillary where her social talents shone with her community involvement. Marie was also an active member of the Woodstock Salvation Army Church. A Private family interment will take place at a later date. At the family's request memorial donations (payable by cheque) may be made to your local Heart and Stroke Foundation
