- Black and white photograph of two storey, log and brick building surrounded by trees. Built in 1817/1818, this structure served as soldiers' barrack in the 19th century and could accomodate up to 100 men. After Dominion of Canada was formed in 1867, Butler's Barracks changed name to Camp Niagara and became a training camp for Canadian troops.
Butler’s Barracks are located at the edge of the Commons behind the Fort George National Historic Site of Canada in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
