Niagara township's new $85,000 municipal building went into use yesterday by the clerical staff, and its new council chambers were graced by the council last night for the first time. The building will be officially opened on May 31. Here, during the council meeting, are Frank Parnell, road superintendent (far left); Rev. H. R. Stevenson, Reeve Victor Dyck, and Clerk J. K. Couillard (on dais); Councillors Clayton Dean and George Carr in front; and Mrs, A. E. Huggins, press reporter at right. The spacious council chamber is finished in natural mahogany, with large modern desks and comfortable chairs, and has plenty of seating capacity for spectators.
