This Indenture (made in duplicate) the Nineteenth day of July one thousand eight hundred and seventy one In Pursuance of the Act respecting Short Forms of Conveyances: BETWEEN Thomas Clark Street of the Township of Stamford in the County of Welland in Ontario Esquire as Trustee of Samuel Street late of same place Esquire who was sole surviving Trustee and Executor of the Honourable Thomas Clark, late of same place Esquire deceased and also as Heir at law of the said Samuel Street of the first part and James Cooper the elder Thomas Vrooman-Henry E.Vrooman-the Reverend Joseph Ward Stone M. D. Thomas A. Raney and James Judson Vrooman all of the Village of Qeenston in the County of Lincoln in Ontario aforesaid as Trustees of the Regular Baptist Church nominated and appointed under and by virtue of an act of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Upper Canada passed in the eighth year of the reign of his late Majesty King George the Fourth entitled an Act for the benefit of Religious Societies therein mentioned of the second part Witnesseth, that in consideration of Three hundred and fifty Dollars, of lawful money of Canada now paid by the said parties of the Second part to the said party of the first part (the receipt whereof is hereby by him acknowledged) he the said party of the first part Doth grant unto the said party of the Second part their Successors and assigns FOR EVER. ALL AND SINGULAR, that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying and being in the said Village of Queenston on Queen Street- being the whole of lot Number one hundred and forty one in said Village excepting thereout a piece or part thereof at the North side adjoining lot Number one hundred and forty having ten feet front and rear and extending to the Eastern and Western boundary of said Lot for its North and South Limits.
