Indenture between Matthew Otchy and Gilbert McMicking signed on April 1, 1833 and confirmed by two witnesses (Richard Dixie and Stephen Butler Jr. This 1833 deed transfers ownership of Lot No. 12 and 33 in Township of Stamford to Gilbert McMicking. The previous owners of this land were: Rheddy Cusack, Andrew Rorback and the Presbyterian Church in Stamford.

[?] all men by these presents, that I Matthew Otchy of the village and Township of Stamford, District of Niagara and province of Upper Canada Esquire, in consideration of the sum of Fifty Pounds said province to me in hand paid by Gilbert McMicking of the Township of Stamford aforesaid yeoman the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, hence [...]

Assigned and set over into the said Gilbert McMicking his executors, administrators and assigns, as well the [?] written Indenture, as also as the Term and Interest in all and singular the lands, [?] and premises within mentioned, yet remaining under and by Virtue of the said Indenture, and likewise all my Estate, Right, Title, Intend, Claims, Property and demand of, in, or to the same lands, Tenements, Hereditance and premises which [?] have, either by means of the Indenture or otherwise however; subject nevertheless to the Rents and covenants in the same Indenture contained

In witness whereof the parties to these presents hereunto set their hands and seals at Stamford aforesaid the First day of April in the Year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three.
