MRS. JOHN H. C. DURHAM. West Palm Beach, Fla., Nov. 24. Mrs. John H. C. Durham of West Palm Beach, Fla., passed away in Miami Hospital on Nov. 21, following a short illness. She was born near St. Mary; Ont., of Scottish ancestry, and was daughter of the late Robert D. and Jessie Gordon Mitchell. In December, 1896, she married John H. C. Durham of Toronto. She resided in Toronto until 1908, when Mr. and Mrs. Durham took up residence on their farm at Craigmore, Bond Lake, where she lived until two years ago, when she moved to West Palm Beach. Mrs. Durham early associated herself with the Church, the principles and teachings of which she carried into every walk of life. Continuing Presbyterian in faith, she was active in the South until the time of her death. She was untiring in her charitable work and was happiest when doing good for others. No worthy call was left unheeded. She is survived by her husband, John H. C. Durham, of West Palm Beach, and four sisters, Mrs. John Robertson and Mrs. James Kearns, of Kinistino, Sask.; Mrs. A. D. Armstrong, Queenston, and Mrs. F. E. Conner, of Toronto; also three brothers, Robert Mitchell, of Toronto; Hugh Mitchell, of Bond Lake, and William G. Mitchell, of Toronto. The funeral takes place iiom the home of Mrs. A. D. Armstrong, Queenston, today. Interment at St. Catharines. DURHAM -- At the Miami Hospital Florida, on Saturday, Nov. 21, 1931, Ann Angus, beloved wife of John H. C. Durham, formerly of Toronto, Ont. Funeral services will be held at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. D. Armstrong, Niagara River Road, on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 2.30 p.m. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines, Ont.
