- "The great Tommy Joe Coffey recently described Bill Danychuck as one of the finest gentlemen he has ever known, let alone, played football with. From Niagara District S.S. Bill went on to star at the university of Tennessee, but it was during his 11 years at a Hamilton Tiger Cat where he truly left his mark. As a CFL Canadian All-star for ten years, some say he refined the role of offensive guard. While winning innumerable personal awards including MVP of the team in 1068, Bill's greatest pride is having played on three Grey Cup winning teams between 1965 and 1975. But what is most remarkable about Bill is that beyond his dedication and athleticism, all who speak of him always refer to his wonderful personality, his delightful sense of humor and the great respect he holds for his family and friends."
