- "Beginning with the St. Davids Lions Swim Team and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Sailing School, Fiona developed a love of the water which never left her. Winning her first Rowing Championship in 1988 and continuing through to the Olympic Team of 2004, Fiona has always excelled on the water. She has been a Canadian National Champion, World Rowing Champion, Pan Am Games Champion, Canadian Henley Champion, Olympic Team member and the 2003 winner of the Rowing Canada Centennial Medal. Fiona's passion and dedication to her sport is not only an inspiration to out town, but to the entire nation as well."
