- "Stan's terrific athletic ability was best exemplified in Lacrosse. His playing career spanned all amateur levels, highlighted in 1968 by a Senior B Canadian Championship with the Brantford Warriors and in 1978 when he won a world championship playing for Canada. He also played professionally in 1975 with the Boston Bolts. After retirement as a player, Stan, always willing to share his passion, knowledge and expertise with our youth, continued to be involved in the sport as a coach and manager. His excellence and dedication to lacrosse at every level, remains today as the standard to which all others are measured."
