- "Zenon was born and raised in Niagara and still makes Niagara-on-the-Lake his home. Growing up on a farm with strong values and support, instilled in a young boy the attributes that would see him rise through all amateur and professional levels of hockey to become a dominant, physical force in the NHL. Zenon approaches everything he does with tremendous passion, He emulates characteristics like loyalty, integrity and tradition which has made him a leader among his teammates. From championships in the OHL and ECHL to four different teams in the NHL. Zenon has always reflected the virtues of true sportsmanship. He's never forgotten his roots and gives back with enthusiastic charity work while also teaching youth in his own hickey academy. Zenon is a man who has fought for everything he's achieved, and remains a shining beacon of hope that with talent, determination, grit and tenacity, anything is possible."
