Description
This book is a collection of names and inscriptions on headstones from many cemeteries across the Niagara Region, almost all of these inscriptions came from Dr. W. G. Reive who as a hobby found “neglected cemeteries” and “copied data from crumbling headstones”.
Notes
- The preface is written by Commander Dean Brooks
(Ret.) of Los Angeles, California who used Dr.
Reive's notes to find information about his
family.
- Pages 8-14 have descriptions of the many
cemeteries in Niagara that Dr. Reive traveled to.
- Page 17 has a table of contents
- The cemeteries in this book are from the 12
communities of Niagara as well as some from
Haldimand county and Ancaster.
- An index of names that that appear in the book s
starts on pages 425 and continues until page 479.
