- For well over 25 years, Yvonne Haines has dedicated herself to the growth and maintenance of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Skating Club. She has volunteered and acted in almost every capacity from President on down, with a passion and undying commitment that is truly an inspiration to behold. Her efforts are well recognized by many National skating organizations as well, where she is continually sought out as chair and vice chair for events. While a gifted athlete herself, she always left an indelible imprint on those in her club. Even years later, everyone continues to speak of her generosity, her positive recognition of their effort and the incredible difference she has made in their lives.
