While this stone which memorializes Daniel Fleming (Father), his wife Elizabeth Fleming, and his two oldest daughters Ellen Fleming Martin and Jennette Fleming is located in the Evergreen Cemetery in Milton, the bodies along with their son Edward White Fleming are all buried in the Old Pioneer Cemetery. The memorial stone was moved, I am told, in 1928 by the Martin family (Ellen Fleming married Joseph Martin) to Evergreen with several other stones so they could all be together in one place. Permission was never asked of the Flemings for this to happen.
