I am searching out my family history. I have found our name comes back to Ireland. I had a grandfather Tristram Lepper, Arthur Lepper and William Lepper from there. So if you have any info that would be great.

My husband Gerald Lepper's father's family came from Three Trees, Ireland and settled in Aurora ON on coming to Canada. He moved for work to Alberta and settled north of Calgary.

My mother's family originally came from Three Trees as far south as you can get in Northern Ireland. Eight bros. immigrated in the very early 19th century. One named Tristram stayed in Ireland and obtained the family farm. My great great great grandfather named Matthew ran a store in Aurora. Other bros. ran other stores up and down Yonge Street. One brother was a fireman in Toronto and died saving a child when a wall fell on him. Arthur Lepper was my great grandfather James' uncle. He lost all his money on the horses. My grandfather (William), my great uncle James and My great uncle Basil went off in WW 1 with BritishExpeditionary Force in 1914. Basil died in 1918 a month before the war ended.

A lot of the Leppard family are buried in Carnmoney Parish Church.

I will put some headstone photos on findagrave.com
