- Kenneth Ferguson was born February 10, 1889, in Killarney, Manitoba, the fourth child of George & Elizabeth (Keyes) Ferguson. He enlisted in 1916 with the 194th Battalion and went to England that fall. In 1917, he joined a battalion tasked with building a railway near the front.
He was discharged on April 11, 1919 and was granted farmland near Vegreville, AB under the Soldier Settlement Board. Married in 1921, Kenneth and his wife Fannie (McCleery) raised 4 children. - Image Dimensions
