Description
The author has studied the Huguenots, the descendants of French Protestants, from their origins in France, to settle in many parts of the world where they became assimilated. The loss of their identity has made it difficult for historians to trace their origins although there were an estimate two million who left France. Until this book little has been known of the Huguenot history of Canada.
