$ Times Office, Ottawa®, t Nov 31, 1868. Now that farmers are enabled to come to town with sleighs there is no scarcity of pri@risions in the mitket. On Saturday the majority of articles of daily consumption were in abundance, amonget which may be mentioned beef, pork and hay. Butter, however, was searce, and much enquired after. What little there was advanced in price, as will te seen. Peas and Beans were in fair supply. New Mess Pork has begun to come in, and ofers at $23.00 to $23.50, and prime mss at $16.00 to $16.50. At these prices, however, yery little will fnd its way to this market. There is good reason to believe that it will shortly be lower. Best Spanish Sole, Nc. 1.... Mo-r’ â€" +‘ 4Â¥ «.
