We are glad to learn that a number of very handsome subscriptions have been promised, and thit there is every prospect ol sucgess. Arrangements have been made for canvassing the different wards, and the secretary has been directed to write to the various municipalities throughout the county and ascertain what they will con â€" tribute. . We believe that a building co«=tâ€" mg about $25,000 will be erected, and that the work will be proceeded with almost immediately. { r the rapid and perfect performance o work. The immense machinery extend ing through several shops is driven by steam, and consequently their facilities enable them to turn out chesper and bet ter work than establishments where everyâ€" thirg is done by hond. It is but natur«l to suppose that such is the case ; steam doew work well and cheap. The â€" greai variety of vehicles which Messrs, Stockâ€" dale have at present on hand is well worth going to see. They have over thirty car riiges completed and for sale, whle halt that number are in the hands of the workâ€" men. A Clirence coach we may mention in particular and a «">avannah Beauty" merits particular attention.
