I Moxtrzar, Dec. 8.â€"The Dunkin Act being in force in Missiâ€"squoi, the Temâ€" perance men are endeavouring to prevent the illicit sale of liquor in the village of Frelighsburg. H. N Dyke, a merchant, and Carpenter, a teacher, have espeâ€" cially incurred the dislike roI the liquorâ€" dealing fraternity by their attempts to stamp out the traffic. Means have been adopted to drive Dyke from the town or ruin his business. A liquor seller came into the city and gave information to the wholesale merchants with whoin Dyke was dealing, which made them for the time doubtful of his commercial integrity.
