The Christmas season, on which we are now entering, is an occasion when all who are interested in the educat‘on of the youth have an opportunity of witnessing their progress in their several studies, and of enjoying an exhibition of intellecâ€" tual feats which the leading educational institutions‘of our city set before us. The Institution, Congregation de Notre Damse, situated on Gloucester street, Centre Town, kindly introduced, last evening, its patrons and friends to the pupils entrustâ€" ed to its care. We noti¢ed among them several new faces, whilst we were pleased to recognize others whom we had seen there during ‘previoul years, thouih changed greatly for the better, not only in outward appearance but in their mental attainments.
