When it does, fees will be lowered to $6 a month. Meanwhile, the mothers of the angels raise money to buy equipment and supplies, and to pay the teachers. The operation was begun and initially funded by the Centre D'Activites Franc- aises. Although in only its second year of operation, the nur- sery school is well equipped. There are lots of tricycles for big muscle activities, and an indoor slide, complete with a mattress at the landing point. Mrs. Helen Robichaud came down and helped the girls to learn steps for a Scottish folk dance. On Jan. 18, 14 members of the Victoria Harbour Legion Dart Club attended the zone dart meet at Orillia. On Jan. 20, the St. John's United Church annual congregational supper was held in the Sunday School room. There was a very good turnout and the record for pie eating was seven pieces. The new members for the church council this year are Mrs. Brenda Rutt, Colin Ashworth, Ray Lohnes, Al Dober and Mrs. Bev. Har- per. Clinton Todd will be the new chairman.
