IN THE HURONIA MALL MIDLAND Senior citizens meet On Monday June 16, the Senior Citizens Club 438, Waubaushene held their last meeting of the season in St. John's Church Hall. With about 30 guests from Coldwater Club 60 people sat down to a Pot Luck Lunch at 1 p.m By matching numbers the two clubs were intergrated for the afternoon. After lunch 4 films were shown with Ed. Gulliver operating the projector. Between films jokes were told by Jeannie Brown and from the floor and a bit of EVISCERATED, FROZEN, VAC PAC Singing lead by Jeannie Yo Brown was also enjoyed Women's fStitute meets On Wednesday June 18, 10 HE: 14 the Women's Institute met at the home of Mrs Leona Brown, with 16 members present A ay lengthy discussion took place regarding a bus trip but it was decided to wait until the fall and make plans for one then. On Friday afternoons there will be a euchre party held at some members home in aid of the Institute. This was the last meeting for this season, the next one will CANADA NO. 1 GRADE ONTARIO be on Sept. 17 in the Institute Hall when we GROWN LARGE FIRM HEADS will entertain the Cold water Sr. Branch at a luncheon at 12:30 Members will be con tacted by the committee on what to bring to the lunch The meeting was brought to a close and tea was served by our hostess UCW meets On Thursday June 12, the Unitee Church Women met at the home of Mrs. Hazel Bunton, with 14 members present Mrs. Isobel Mossman acted as secretary for the meeting in the absense of Mrs. Emma Thompson who has left Waubaushene to take up residence in Thamesford, Ont Plans for a Strawberry Tea and Bake Sale to be held on July 12, at the home of Mrs. Laurine Taylor, on Percy Street, were made.
