rf . Sports Council The sports and fitness division of the Ministry of Culture and Recreation and the Greater Huronia present 1--Theory Ontario's development the Level Phase of coaching program. The program will be offered this fall in Orillia, Barrie, and Stayner and next winter in Alliston, B acrer item and Penetanguishene, thus providing all of Huronia's Coaches with the -op- portunity of taking the course. The Ontario coaching expressed by the sports governing bodies to have more and better trained coaches. These sport governing bodies are now preparing to offer the skills and drills technical phase of the Program. The eight-week theory course deals with the general aspects of coaching and is ap- plicable to coaching of any and all sports. The program introduces the coach to such principals as the coaches' role as a leader, growth, development and motivation of the athlete, more. The course starts at Orillia Collegiate Institute in Orillia on Thursday, Sept. 18, at North Collegiate in Barrie on Wednesday, October 1, at Stayner Collegiate Institute in Stayner on Tuesday, October 14.
