The two local service clubs chipped in to sponsor a benefit wine and cheese party at the Midland Civic Centre in an effort to add to the campaign coffers. Canvassers began knocking on doors in Midland, Penetanguis- hene, Victoria Harbour, Port MecNicoll and Tay and Tiny Townships on Monday in order to raise money for a new facility for the Adult Rehabilitation Centre in Midland. The sponsoring body for the centre, the Huronia Association for the Mentally Retarded provides rehabilitation Use the classifieds and assessment for handicapped persons. The centre, which operates from a building on William Street, is bulging at the seams.
