Impaired charge A Tiny Township man was charged with im- paired driving early Sunday morning on Robert Street East. Constable Don Westcott noticed a vehicle Patrick King, 39, of Concession 16, Tiny Township, has been charged with impaired driving and excess alcohol. $1,300 damage A Midland man was charged with failing to share half the roadway when meeting a vehicle following an accident in front of 130 Robert Street West on Friday night. A van driven by 40-year-old Helmut Tietz, of 229 Bay Street, Midland, was damaged to the extent of $1,000. A car driven by Rodger Desrochers, 20, of 616 Dominion Avenue West, Midland, received $300 damage. There were no injuries Desrochers was charged by Constable Tom Marchand. The accident occurred at 10:35 p.m. Fail to yield There was a two-car accident at the in- tersection of Fox and Burke Streets at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, / A car driven by Dayif'Deschambault, 19, of 68 Church Street, Penétanguishene, was damged to the extent of $180 when it came into collision with a car driven by Ginette King, 39, of 19 Sheridan Street, Penetanguishene. Her car received a total of $200 damage. There were no injuries. Awards were presented to those having served at least 5 years with the hospital. Presenting the awards Long-service awards presented Awards were presented Friday night to those members of the Penetanguishene General Hospital who have served at least five years with the hospital. Mrs. Muriel Williams, Mrs. Helen Moreau and Mrs. Peggy Bush received pins marking 20 years of service. Mrs. Priscilla Bourgois, Mrs. Agnes Dupuis, Mrs. Beatrice Lambie and Mrs. Flora Beausoleil all received awards for 15 years.
