Stewardship means that we recognize our gifts from God and determine what we can offer Him in terms of our time, our' talents 'and our money. Yes, stewardship does usually mean a financial campaign. It also means reaching out to people, presenting both the story and the needs of our churches. Our treasurers report very encouraging news, but the expenses for operating our parish and our churches are going to continue to climb. We need people to help us in God's_ service. Our churches have a lot to offer to those many Anglicans in our com- munities who either don't care or don't know about their church. If we are going to succeed it will take the co- operation and in- volvement of everyone. A serious attempt at putting our faith into action cannot but help increase our Christian com- mitment and that of those around us. Rev. and Mrs. Kib- blewhite join with your Church Wardens, Mr. and Mrs. Art Hamilton and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gerdes in praying God will grant you a safe.and happy summer, and may you remember God and the Church never take a holiday. 543 BAY ST.W. Come to Downtown Ss a Thanks expressed The following is a letter to Coldwater and district parents from Grade 8 teacher David Austin, of Coldwater public school, who is leaving to teach at Twin Lakes Secondary School in Orillia. Dear parents: Over the past four years it has been my pleasure to teach at Coldwater public school. During that time I have made many friends and thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this com- munity. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere thanks to you, firstly for the lovely barbecue you presented to Heather and I, but more importantly for the tremendous support and encouragement you gave me at all times. As I leave Coldwater to take up duties at Twin Lakes, I will take with me many happy memories, although I hope to return often to visit. Again let me say a very sincere thank you. Yours sincerely, David R. Austin Spot Specials Save on the street and in the stores too!
